Important: Our Services are general information, document organisation, and facilitated conversation. We do not provide legal, financial, medical, therapeutic, social work, or any other form of regulated professional advice or service. Any question arising during a session that falls within the scope of a regulated profession will be noted in writing and directed to the appropriate body or professional type. We take no responsibility for any decisions made based on any information discussed during our sessions.
4. Client responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when making an enquiry or signing a Scope Document

6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, layout, design, and structure — belongs to Calmara Desk. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of this website without our prior written permission.
Session summaries, indexes, and other written outputs produced by us during a service engagement are provided to you for your own use. You may share them with other participants in the same engagement but may not publish or commercialise them.
7. Disclaimer
Our Services are provided as described in the Scope Document and these Terms. We do not make any promises about outcomes. In particular:
- We do not promise that any paperwork sorting session will identify all documents requiring action
- We do not promise that any coordination system will resolve disagreements between households
- We do not promise any specific result from the Extended Family Coordination Programme
- Nothing communicated during our services constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted under Malaysian law, our liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our Services is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; decisions you make based on information discussed during sessions; loss or damage to documents handled during sorting sessions (beyond replacing documents damaged directly by our negligence); or any matter referred to a third-party professional following a session.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
9. Termination
Either party may end an ongoing engagement by giving 30 days' written notice. For single-session services, this clause does not apply.
We may suspend or end an engagement without notice if: you breach these Terms and the breach is not remedied within 7 days of our notification; or your conduct during sessions is abusive or threatening to our staff.
Upon termination, we will return any materials belonging to you and provide a written summary of work completed to the date of termination.
10. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services will first be subject to an informal resolution process: you must notify us in writing of the dispute, and we will respond within 14 days with our position. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of that notice, either party may refer the matter to the courts of Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from applying for urgent injunctive relief.
11. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms and any applicable Scope Document constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede all prior discussions.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms continues in full effect.

- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
- Notices: Notices under these Terms must be in writing. Notices to us should be sent to [email protected] or to our address below.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For active engagements, we will notify you by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
